When I bought the PS3, I bought it for one reason – to play Blu-Ray movies. I promised myself that I wouldn’t double dip. In case you aren’t familiar with that term, it refers to buying a movie on Blu that I already own on DVD (or other digital formats for that matter…)
Well fuck that. The day has come for my first Double Dip. And for those of you who think I’m a careless double dipper, I’m not. I’m selling my DVD copies on ebay.
PS – I do like Vol. 2 just as much as I like Vol. 1 – they are the same movie!!!
If you’re watching it on a HDTV, yes there…although I have a feeling I’m a bit more sensitive to the difference than most people because I work with video all the time…
I’m don’t work with video but I do watch a lot of movies & videos on my television set. I have a Sony Bravia flat screen in my bedroom and a Hitachi 55″ projection TV in the living room that’s 5+ years old. I’ve been wanting to check out Blu-Ray for a while, though. I would say HD DVD also but I remember a while back you saying how much it sucked
HD-DVD is dead! Blu-Ray won that battle…HD-DVD is discontinued so you might find players or movies for real cheap, but it’s not worth it. They’ve disappeared from stores everywhere.
