“Do I know you from somewhere?”

The website myspace has added new meaning to this question.

Alright so you are a casual myspace user. Someone adds you to their friends list every once in a while. You post bulletins answering questions about yourself, your likes and dislikes. You post silly comments to your friends and to people you hardly know. You like reading image comments that people put up about you and sending messages to other people to ask them questions or get to know them. It’s all good.

Lately though, on 3 or 4 occassions, while out in public, I have either been spotted by people or met people the I don’t know…other than myspace. Some of the people I’ve talked to, others have simply spotted me. *wink wink*

So what do you do when this occassion comes up? When you run into someone that you’ve don’t know, yet you think you do…do you ask them the question…”Do I know you from somewhere?”…or do you chicken out???

Well it adds an interesting twist to our daily lives I must say. Maybe not for those of you who’s buddy lists consist of people that are all from Cali, when you live in NJ, but for those of you that have alot of “unkown” friends from within your own state, well it’s kind of interesting.

I must admit, it is kind of weird to run into someone like that at first, but it’s really not that bad. Hell if you go to one of these “MySpace Parties” I’m sure you’ll get over that kind of fear really quick.

And no matter what anyone says, everyone I’ve met from MySpace in real life is normal. This website isn’t only populated by “creeps and freaks”. Nice people too, I might add.

So the next time you are out at the mall, on vacation, or going for a walk around your own neighborhood, ask yourself this…what will you do if you run into a fellow myspacer in person for the first time???

I say, just have fun with it.

Vermillion, Pt. 2

Here’s a nice Slipknot cover song I recorded last August. Was just listening to it and thought I’d post it on here for anyone that might want to hear.

Memory Loss

Current mood:  listless

“You’ll never know dear
How much I love you
Please don’t take
my sunshine away..”

I can hear this song in my head. I can hear my mother singing it to one of my younger siblings. Perhaps it was about 20 years ago…maybe longer? It doesn’t matter, cause when I hear it in my head it sounds like it’s right there. Time hasn’t effected it. Nothing could effect it in my mind.

So when I die where does that memory go? Does it go with me? Is it lost forever? Or will I leave it behind…?

Where do our memories go when we die?

A friend told me that I should write, I should speak and I should sing. So that I can leave these memories behind instead of taking them with me…and keeping them all to myself. I’m not sure who be would interested in them, but there are alot of them to go around.

Do you ever lie in bed at night and try to recall something that you haven’t thought about in the longest time? If you haven’t, please give it a try tonight. It might open up some corners of your mind you had forgotten about. Just sit there and try to think of the most randomest thought or memory you might have bottled up in that head of yours. Hell, write it down if you want or tell someone about it. Turn it into a song or paste it on your blog. Pass it along.

I don’t want all these memories to myself. I don’t like holding them all in. I can’t be greedy with all these thoughts…I want to share them…

Sometimes though, especially at night, they are all I have.

Don’t take your sleep for granted…enjoy the night.

“Please don’t take, my sunshine, away…”
