Spooning “The Elusive John” Video Blog

The Place: A Cabin in Reeders, PA

The Time: May 20, 2007 around 2 AM?

The Pre-Story: Following Sue’s wedding on Saturday night there was an after-party. After the after party, we returned to our cabin – Jackie, my sisters Kate & Kara and me. Kate’s boyfriend John had been feeling a bit sick, so he didn’t attend the after party.

By this time of night we were all pretty drunk on beers and what not.

Shortly after returning to our cabin, my cousin Edwin showed up. We decided to mess with John, even though he wasn’t feeling good and was sleeping (we’re assholes, I know).

There was a video camera handy with night vision…here is what ensued…

Sue’s Wedding Weekend Day 2: Shopping & Rehearsals

So Day 2 was last Friday May 18…I think I was the last one to wake up that day. We went shopping at some outlets in Tannersville and later on that day was the wedding rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner. Here are the pics I took on Day 2…

Jackie is caught outside of our first store stop.

That’s me, lookin’ all jaundice and shit…wearing the coolest birthday gift shirt ever.

Juano and Cesar bought some new panties!

I think Kate was singing “Follow the Yellow Brick Road” or some shit.

Alright this picture comes along with a great nerdy story. So at our cabin where we were staying there was no internet access. So I needed to get on the net for work and John is always fixin’ for some internet love so we went for a drive towards my Aunt Lynn’s house. I pulled into the driveway, John found an unsecure wireless network in the area and we both whipped out or laptops and started going at it. Next thing you know, my awesome cousin Edwin shows up as me and John are getting our internet fix in the driveway. It was pretty funny. My Uncle Bill pulled up a couple minutes later and at that point we decided we better be on our way before things got too geeky.

Uncle Bill, Kara, Kate and My Dad at the “cocktail hour” before rehearsal dinner.

Perhaps they will be the next ones to get married??? After all, they are engaged!

They both were wishing they were wrestling in a cabin not too far away…little did they know that the next day, their dreams would come true.

Edwin spooning Colleen as she opens up her gift from the bride (side note: Colleen is Sue’s sister – Sue is the bride! duh.)

Kaylee telling Mommy that she doesn’t want to go home yet and she wants to dance.

The Drive home from the rehearsal dinner: Jackie got all excited that her favorite American Idol winner was playing a concert nearby. (In all reality, Jackie hates Ruben because he beat Clay Aiken)

Next up is Day 3 :: THE WEDDING!!!

Thanks for sharing them Charlie. Why does Win look so different? Did he loose weight? The other day Liam asked me what Win did for a job and I said “He’s a salesman if some sort.” And Li went “Huh.’ I asked why, didn’t that job seem to suit him and he said, no, not exactly. So I asked what job he thought Win would do. With no hesitation he says “Maybe a miner or something. ” Why? Because miners are strong. According to Liam. Now I just picture Win with a pick ax in the mines working hard for his money.

The Adventures of Rocky & Missy Part 1 (Video)

So today I’m sitting at work, working and stuff…My Dad walks in with this tape and he’s like, you gotta see this. He hands me the tape asked me to put it on the internet for him so he can send it out to people he knows. I thought the video was cool so I’m sharing it with you all.

The video includes my parent’s pets – Rocky (a bassett hound) and Missy (a persian cat) and their “adventures” together.

And now you all know what my dad does in his spare time at home…
