Mario! (a music video short) featuring: Liam, Fiona & Kaylee

A music video short by Liam, Fiona, Kaylee & Charley.

Quick facts:

This was made in January 2008 a few weeks shy of moving out of Bonita Springs (hence the moving boxes we used as part of our “set” in the background).

Liam sings the song in his own language.

It took us about 5 or so takes to get it right.

Our concept for the video was a boy who was bored and he started singing and it started to brighten up his day!

This video features all 3 of my nieces & nephew!

It also features my favorite guitar, or at least half of it.

Beautiful! I love it. The long awaited production was worth it. Thanks Charley for making it. The kids are still asleep but I’ll show it to them soon.

Now put a blog post up of your new place.

This is the kind of shit I think about during the course of my day.

You know I really feel bad for animals…like cats & dogs..rabbits & hamsters.

Namely because throughout their whole life their owners, us humans, treat them like babys. From the time they are actually babys, throughout their teenage and adult lives, we treat them like babys non stop. It must really start to piss them off after a while, especially when they realize that we are still treating them like babys and they aren’t babys anymore. Or maybe they don’t realize it and they think we just act stupid and they accept that because we fill up their food bowls.

Do you get what I’m saying? Maybe? Maybe not. Okay? Yes? No? Mabye So?

I’m done.

Iris
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I never thought about it that way. But you know what? My dog eats it up when I treat him like a baby. When I raise my voice at him because he isn’t cooperating, his tail tucks under. So it’s his fault I say…BIG OL BABY!

mine isnt feeling like a baby. He got taken in to get his rabbit testicals clipped.

Why?

he wont be as agressive.
he may stop raping our guinea pig.
It will prolong his life.

65 bucks later. damned rabbit balls.
PS. they are all my babies.. wee.

lol – yeah, I don’t think they realize it. I will say that they’ve got it pretty good b/c at least with REAL babies (<— note the correct spelling), you can stop cleaning up their crap after a couple years, ya know? I mean, let’s see, my dog is 10, she craps twice a day and I’ve had her since she was 6 weeks old. You do the math …

LOL
I love my all my animals so much I don’t even think they realize it.
I think animals have that innocents that never dies and thats what makes us baby them forever.
No matter what silly things I do especially when I use my “pet voice” (when I talk like a chipmunk) and shit they know that I am talking to them.
I don’t think they know that we baby them, they just know that theres this human that feeds and pets and loves me and does goofy shit to me all day and I love them unconditionally because of that.
So I will continue to smother my pets with my annoying antics and cuddles because I want them to know what it feels like to be treated good and loved and that anything less than that isn’t acceptable.

my roommate always has a male cat or dog, and she always wants to pretend they are gay. just because she girlies them and thinks they’re Fabulous.
oh, and she’s a huge Fag Hag.

I resent that. I don’t treat Song like a baby. I treat her like a precious princess, unless she’s bad then I call her a “fatass” and give her dirty looks. Honestly though, I think I treat my pets more like they’re crazy people than babies. It’s amusing, to me at least… And now I shall leave you with a quote:

Well consider the fact that animal brain power is at or about the same IQ level of your average palm tree, then you will realize that they probably don’t mind all that much.

Food, poop, water, pee, pet, sleep….and repeat.

Well, I expect my pets to act like adults. They have their regular chores and they know they need to bring home their wages to contribute to the household income. Oh wait, those are my kids. Hmmm…actually, I treat my cat like she is a royal princess alien. But if I had a dog, I’d really not treat him like a baby. I’d give him a job for real since that is what dog’s seem to require to be fulfilled. I watch too much Dog Whisperer on tv!

Toshiba Announces Discontinuation of HD DVD Businesses

Toshiba Announces Discontinuation of HD DVD Businesses

Company Remains Focused on Championing Consumer Access to High Definition Content

TOKYO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Toshiba Corporation today announced that it has undertaken a thorough review of its overall strategy for HD DVD and has decided it will no longer develop, manufacture and market HD DVD players and recorders. This decision has been made following recent major changes in the market. Toshiba will continue, however, to provide full product support and after-sales service for all owners of Toshiba HD DVD products.

HD DVD was developed to offer consumers access at an affordable price to high-quality, high definition content and prepare them for the digital convergence of tomorrow where the fusion of consumer electronics and IT will continue to progress.

We carefully assessed the long-term impact of continuing the so-called ‘next-generation format war’ and concluded that a swift decision will best help the market develop, said Atsutoshi Nishida, President and CEO of Toshiba Corporation. “While we are disappointed for the company and more importantly, for the consumer, the real mass market opportunity for high definition content remains untapped and Toshiba is both able and determined to use our talent, technology and intellectual property to make digital convergence a reality.

Toshiba will continue to lead innovation, in a wide range of technologies that will drive mass market access to high definition content. These include high capacity NAND flash memory, small form factor hard disk drives, next generation CPUs, visual processing, and wireless and encryption technologies. The company expects to make forthcoming announcements around strategic progress in these convergence technologies.

Toshiba will begin to reduce shipments of HD DVD players and recorders to retail channels, aiming for cessation of these businesses by the end of March 2008. Toshiba also plans to end volume production of HD DVD disk drives for such applications as PCs and games in the same timeframe, yet will continue to make efforts to meet customer requirements. The company will continue to assess the position of notebook PCs with integrated HD DVD drives within the overall PC business relative to future market demand.

This decision will not impact on Toshibas commitment to standard DVD, and the company will continue to market conventional DVD players and recorders. Toshiba intends to continue to contribute to the development of the DVD industry, as a member of the DVD Forum, an international organization with some 200 member companies, committed to the discussion and defining of optimum optical disc formats for the consumer and the related industries.

Toshiba also intends to maintain collaborative relations with the companies who joined with Toshiba in working to build up the HD DVD market, including Universal Studios, Paramount Pictures, and DreamWorks Animation and major Japanese and European content providers on the entertainment side, as well as leaders in the IT industry, including Microsoft, Intel, and HP. Toshiba will study possible collaboration with these companies for future business opportunities, utilizing the many assets generated through the development of HD DVD.

The Hi-Def DVD War…Is over.

Go out and buy yourself a Blu-Ray DVD player folks.

Best Buy, Wal-Mart & Netflix have all announced that they are abandoning HD-DVD and will fully support Blu-Ray.

Toshiba is getting ready to abandon the HD-DVD format (and lose hundreds of millions of dollars).

The Hi-Def DVD War is over…the new war begins…DVD vs. Blu-Ray.

Let the games begin.

Thank CHRIST!!!

I was really stressin’ over this. I’m a big Blu-Ray supporter, and already have about 15 blu-ray movies. I was really disappointed when I found out that Paramount had made an exclusive deal with HD DVD. That meant I couldn’t get Transformers, The GodFather, The Matrix, and all kinds of other goodies. I’m glad to see this shit is finally over. Blu-Ray is clearly the better product – it has 2x’s the capacity on one disc – I mean, that alone should tell people something.

Things are finally starting to look up.

Yeah, I just read that too. Fortunately, I never even tried to figure out which was better, and I guess that was a good thing b/c if I had bought an HD-DVD player and HD-DVDs, I’d be pretty pissed off right now!!

Meh. I still believe digital downloads are the whole reason Microsoft was supporting HD-DVD to begin with. To let them get their shit together on Live.

Now that they and Netflix have it going…

Apple pushing for the same thing. Its only a matter of time. Might as well make it a PS3 so you can use it for something else once Blu-Ray is no longer supported.

I wouldn’t mind digital downloads…but my concern is with hard drives crashing and the amount of data that could be lost…I guess I’m old fashioned and I like my DVD collection..having the cases and discs…it’s weird though, as far as my CD collection, I put it all on my iPod and haven’t looked back..my CDs haven’t seen the light of day since I lived in NJ.
